- ➤ The Holland Center in North Scottsdale will host the 4th Annual Navajo Rug and Jewelry Show with a VIP preview on Feb. 20 (5 to 8 p.m.) and a public event from Feb. 21 to Feb. 22 featuring 300 handmade rugs, jewelry, and live cultural demonstrations that support Navajo elders. City Sun Times

- ➤ APS and Liberty Wildlife installed a 45-foot wooden pole (complete with a nesting platform) near the Salt River to help local birds avoid utility hazards. Visitors can soon view the installation and learn about the ongoing partnership to protect wildlife habitats. KJZZ
