  • On Jan. 31, The Killers headlined the Concert in the Coliseum at the WM Phoenix Open, delivering hits including Mr. Brightside and a cover of Go Your Own Way. Tyler Hubbard opened the show and set the stage for a memorable performance at this iconic event.  The Arizona Republic

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Scottsdale Unified School District will hold a public meeting today at 6 p.m. at Coronado High School to discuss potential attendance boundary changes amid plans to close two elementary schools to reduce costs as enrollment drops. The board will vote on changes on Feb. 10.  Scottsdale Progress

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Arizona Cardinals hired Mike LaFleur as head coach last Sunday on a five-year deal after a nearly four-week search. The new coach, formerly the Rams' offensive coordinator (and brother to Packers head coach Matt LaFleur), replaces Jonathan Gannon after a challenging season.  ABC15 Arizona
