- ➤ The Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board postponed redrawing Pima Elementary boundaries at its Feb. 10 meeting and will decide next month. The board narrowed choices to keeping neighborhoods in the Coronado or Saguaro communities to ensure continued bus service for students. Scottsdale Independent

- ➤ Seven Western states, including Arizona, missed a deadline to agree on a water plan, leaving local communities at risk from worsening drought. Governors from Arizona, California, and Nevada urged Upper Basin states to offer additional concessions + strengthen conservation efforts. Scottsdale Independent
- ➤ On Feb. 10 a ceremony at We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort celebrated three new council members for Fort McDowell Yavapai. The event focused on unity and economic development as returning leaders pledged accountability and growth for the tribe. The Arizona Republic
