- ➤ Phoenix Film Festival returns for its 26th edition to bring filmmakers and movie lovers together at Harkins Scottsdale 101 from Thu, Apr. 9 through Sun, Apr. 19. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Salt River Project announced Tuesday a plan to lower residential power bills by about 3% this summer (saving customers around $5.57 per month from May through October). The Tempe-based utility will have its board vote on the proposal on March 26. Scottsdale Independent

- ➤ Scottsdale City Council approved a contract with Vincere Physicians Groups for $400,000 per year to provide cancer screening for firefighters, including $2,500 whole-body MRI scans for those 35 and older and $950 Galleri multi-cancer blood tests.
