  • AAA reports fuel prices in the Valley have risen nearly 20 percent in recent days with gas topping $4 a gallon, affecting drivers and local businesses. Meteorologist Jorge Torres predicts scattered showers and thunderstorms tonight with highs in the low 80s.  ABC15 Arizona

EDUCATION NEWS

  • SUSD’s latest audit (FY2025) shows instructional spending dipped to 54% amid rising plant costs and falling enrollment, prompting school closures. District officials say further facility adjustments will help channel more funds to classroom instruction.  Scottsdale Progress
