- ➤ At a March 10 meeting, the SUSD board voted to repurpose two closing schools—one into a specialized learning center and another into a Level D program—and approved leasing its Oak Street property for municipal uses amid declining enrollment. - ➤ A coalition of Arizona parents and educators filed the Protect Education Act with the Arizona Secretary of State this week. The measure would add safety rules, spending limits, and reporting requirements to the ESA voucher program and must secure roughly 255,000 valid signatures by July 2 for a November ballot.
