  • Costco will build its first store on tribal land at the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, located at 4499 N. Pima Road. Work crews will begin construction in June on a 21.5 acre site (with a 162,000 sqft building footprint).  Scottsdale Independent

CULTURE NEWS

  • Guests gathered at Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West for the opening of the 12 million dollar Louis Sands IV Center, a 12000 sqft expansion boosting its area to 55000 sqft. Events ran Tuesday, March 24 to Sunday, March 29 with a press conference at 2:15 p.m. on March 24.  Arizona Digital Free Press

  • Metro Phoenix rents are falling as more than 27,000 new apartments boost vacancies + complexes offer free rent deals, causing cities like Glendale and Scottsdale to report noticeable price drops with further declines expected this year.  The Arizona Republic
