  • Approval in March lets the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and Mullin 360 build a 162,000 sqft Costco on 21.5 acres at 4499 N. Pima Road (near the Scottsdale Auto Show) with groundbreaking set for June. This will be the first Costco on tribal land with a new ready-to-eat section.  Arizona Digital Free Press

CULTURE NEWS

  • The Phoenix Film Festival will run from April 9 to 19 at Harkins Scottsdale 101 (7000 E. Mayo Blvd.). Filmgoers can watch seven featured films chosen by CEO Jason Carney and join a community of movie lovers celebrating original stories.  The Arizona Republic

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Camp Taliesin West runs this summer from early June through late July, offering young learners STEAM sessions in architecture, science, engineering, art and photography at Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic Scottsdale campus (teacher-to-camper ratio 1:10).   • Camp Taliesin West returns this summer at the historic estate, offering young learners STEAM activities in architecture, science, engineering, art, & photography.
