- ➤ A former renter sued a Scottsdale homeowner and Airbnb after finding a hidden camera disguised as a smoke detector in a rental bedroom — police said the memory card only held footage from 2020 of the homeowner and his guests, and the property was removed from short-term listings — and the case remains under active investigation. - ➤ Two men were arrested after allegedly breaking into a Paradise Valley resort hotel room early Tuesday morning — they assaulted a man and kidnapped a woman who was later found safe. ABC15 Arizona
- ➤ Paradise Valley police arrested Reginald Kimbrough and Tradarian Clewis on Wednesday for allegedly kidnapping a woman and assaulting a man in a Scottsdale Plaza Resort hotel room on Monday—victim descriptions led investigators to trace a suspect vehicle parked near a Phoenix residence. KTAR

- ➤ Scottsdale Unified School District is expanding the Math and Science Academy from Saguaro High School to Mohave Middle School to add hands-on STEM classes, Honors courses and career programs—such as Design My Future—that let students earn high school credit.
