  • Alice Cooper hosted Coopstock at Las Sendas Golf Club on Saturday, Apr. 11, delighting fans with a surprise Nirvana cover and benefit performances for Solid Rock Teen Centers + Tommy Thayer, John Oates and Roger Clyne energized the crowd; his Alice’s Attic Tour begins tomorrow in San Antonio.  The Arizona Republic
  • Since 2019, Tucson-based Enchanted Dragon Tattoo has set up three booths at Country Thunder festival in Florence from Wednesday through Monday.   • After the Artemis II splashdown on Friday, Apr. 10, Scottsdale author David Ariosto said the historic mission sets a new course for space exploration, focusing on science and water research to maintain U.S. leadership (his book was released March 24).  ABC15 Arizona

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Electric golf carts are now used for eco-friendly outdoor tours in Scottsdale and surrounding areas, replacing noisy gas vehicles by offering quieter, sustainable travel. Resorts and adventure operators will soon introduce guided rides using models with advanced battery and terrain features (over 50 miles per charge) to protect local wildlife.  Arizona Digital Free Press

  • On Sunday, April 12, the Diamondbacks won a 4-3 game against the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park when a pivotal eighth-inning double play ended a late rally. The team now stands with nine wins in 16 games and will adjust its lineup for upcoming contests.  The Arizona Republic
