- ➤ Popular YouTuber James "The Stradman" and local entrepreneur Freddy Nguyen have opened Strad Pizza in Scottsdale, a car-themed restaurant with sports car artwork and a menu featuring New York-style pizzas, creative sides, and soft serve desserts—its grand opening was held on April 12 and it operates Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Arizona Republic

- ➤ Scottsdale’s 2025-26 budget will cut overall spending by 3.8% to $2.2 billion but raise the operating budget to $823 million with nearly 100 new hires—city leaders worry that lower fund reserves and rising costs may hurt future stability.
