- ➤ Paul Messinger, known as ‘Mr. Scottsdale’, died April 22 at 95 and was celebrated for decades of service on the city council and in the state legislature—he helped found key local services including the first ambulance and mortuary. A public visitation is scheduled Tuesday, April 29 from 3-8 p.m. at Messinger Indian School Mortuary with a funeral mass at 10 a.m. on April 30 and interment at Paradise Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
