- ➤ Scottsdale is partnering with the Salt River Pima–Maricopa Indian Community to upgrade Pima Road from McDowell Road north to Via Linda Way by repairing the road, adding nearly seven miles of continuous bike lanes, improving pedestrian access, and modernizing storm water systems to reduce flood risks for nearly 12,000 daily drivers. Construction (which began in October 2024) will continue through winter 2026. Scottsdale Independent
