- ➤ Scottsdale’s annual Fourth of July Celebration returns for its 13th year — it will take place on Saturday, July 4 from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at WestWorld, marking America’s 250th anniversary and the city’s 75th incorporation anniversary. Scottsdale Independent
- ➤ Ravenscroft music venue in Scottsdale will host six performances in June to close out its spring season — the series will end with a special Stars, Stripes and Swing Independence Day celebration on July 3. Scottsdale Independent

- ➤ Anasazi Elementary was named a 2026 National Gold Star School by the National Association of Elementary School Principals, recognizing its strong learning programs and community teamwork. - ➤ The Scottsdale Unified School District board approved a $375 million bond request that will be on November’s ballot for voters to decide. - ➤ Arizona Oil and Gas Conservation Commission approved new geothermal wells in Greenlee County to power Freeport McMoRan’s Morenci Mine (the MILESHIGH Project) yesterday, and Gov. Katie Hobbs said the move could attract more clean energy developers statewide. KJZZ
