- ➤ ASM has started building its new $300 million semiconductor headquarters at a 20 acre site in North Scottsdale that will add 500 new high paying jobs and expand its lab and office facilities. The project requires ASM to supply 600 acre feet of water to Scottsdale over 20 years and will support major local upgrades — including roads and sewer systems. East Valley Tribune

- ➤ Alumni from ASU's Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising are showing their garments in a new exhibit at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The exhibit is hosted in the windows of the former Nespresso space on the first level of the South Wing and runs through August 2025 + it features designs chosen for their craftsmanship and diverse design perspectives. - ➤ Activate will open its first Arizona location in mid-June at 4848 E. Cactus Road in Phoenix, just west of Scottsdale. The immersive gaming center will feature 13 high-tech game rooms including the TikTok-famous Mega Grid (for players 6 and up) while prices remain unannounced. The Arizona Republic
