- ➤ Scottsdale Community College will host Rock enROLLment Day on Tuesday, June 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to offer new and returning students a one-stop enrollment experience with walk-in academic advising, campus tours, and free lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.—the first 75 students to RSVP will receive an official SCC t-shirt from local apparel company State Forty Eight. - ➤ SRP is offering two free shade tree saplings to eligible customers who attend a virtual workshop to help lower indoor temperatures and reduce energy use by up to 25%. Eligible customers can choose from Palo Verde, Native Mesquite, Thornless Mesquite, Willow Acacia, Desert Willow or Lilac Chaste as workshops will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, noon on Thursday, July 24 and 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23.
