BUSINESS NEWS

  • Arizona is home to six large restaurant chains, including Dutch Bros, Coldstone Creamery, Fox Restaurant Concepts, P.F. Chang’s, Pei Wei and Peter Piper Pizza, that run hundreds of locations—Dutch Bros moved almost half its support staff to Phoenix a year ago and said on June 11 it will shift its headquarters to Tempe.  The Arizona Republic

CULTURE NEWS

  • Berlin-based artist Evan Roth will open his exhibition "Pathfinding" at SMoCA on Oct. 11 — the show highlights new site-specific versions of his sky-inspired works created with photographs of the Scottsdale sky. He draws on techniques from his earlier series of meditative videos and large quilts to translate local light and warmth into art.  Scottsdale Independent

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • ACNSC President and CEO Rick Murray was appointed to the new Workplace Heat Safety Task Force—launched by Gov. Katie Hobbs’ executive order—where he said protecting workers from heat illness is a top priority as rising temperatures increase risks for those in construction, agriculture, manufacturing, and transportation.  Arizona Digital Free Press

  • A board-certified nurse practitioner in Scottsdale explains the importance of pelvic floor health in supporting bladder control, balance, and intimacy while advising women to address symptoms like incontinence and discomfort, and she highlights non-invasive treatments like EMSELLA & FemiLift to strengthen these muscles.  Scottsdale Independent

  • A Chicago-based developer will break ground on Atavia — an 88-unit luxury condominium project with private entrances and two-car garages — this August at Loop 101 and Scottsdale Road.
