ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A man working near Scottsdale and Pinnacle Peak roads was attacked by bees Monday morning and is in critical condition—firefighters found him unresponsive—and they also evaluated a second man with multiple stings.  ABC15 Arizona
  • On the morning of July 7, bees stung three roof workers at Silverstone Independent Living in Scottsdale — one worker died and two were hospitalized in stable condition as authorities investigate the incident.  The Arizona Republic

  • The James Agency has been named to Inc.'s Best Workplaces list for the second year in a row after employees completed a survey by Quantum Workplace—marking its 20th anniversary in 2025. ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Researchers from ASU are studying Scottsdale residents' motivations to join grass-removal programs aimed at cutting water use. Assistant Professor Stylianos Syropoulos said the study will examine personal and social factors behind the voluntary programs—an effort driven by state data showing landscaping can use up to 70% of residential water.  KJZZ
