A 65-year-old man from Gilbert died Monday after being attacked by bees while using a lift to remove stucco at a Scottsdale independent living facility, police said — he received CPR after being pulled off the lift and was pronounced dead at 10:15 a.m. as authorities investigate the incident.

The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the 39th Annual Sterling Awards to honor standout local business organizations – current Chamber members must apply online by July 21.
