  • The Saguaros organization announced its 2025 board with Tad Crother as president, Austin Singer as treasurer, Braydon Dennis as foundation president, Clayton Wolfe as Olympiad chairman, Cody Yount as vice president of membership, Jack York as vice president of events, Kael Cheatham as tax credit chairman, Mike Bosco as life member liaison, Nick Hamati as secretary, Sean Caldwell as vice president of marketing, Simon Assaf as NiteFlite chairman, Tyler Carlisle as charities chairman, and Ben Frelka as technology chairman. The board will expand the NiteFlite fundraiser — increasing donations through the Arizona State Tax Credit program — as it builds on a June grant of more than $750,000 to 29 Arizona children’s charities.  Arizona Digital Free Press
  • Animal shelters in the Valley have 20 adoptable pets—cats and dogs from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, Arizona Humane Society, Arizona Small Dog Rescue, Arizona Animal Welfare League, and HALO Animal Rescue are waiting for new homes.  ABC15 Arizona

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Desert Hills Community School of Music in Scottsdale has hired three new string instructors as cello instructor Gregory Hamilton becomes the administrative director while violinist/violist Brielle Beus and violist Kate Hamilton join the faculty—each bringing strong experience in performance and teaching. HEALTH NEWS

  • WalletHub ranked 182 U.S. cities by work, money, family, and safety stress and found Tucson was the most stressed in Arizona while Scottsdale ranked as the third least stressed overall but had high work stress (fourth in the nation). The study used 39 factors from sources like the U.S. Census and CDC to compare stress levels (including results from Glendale, Phoenix, and Gilbert).  The Arizona Republic
