FINANCE NEWS

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky has proposed possibly introducing up to 60 Salt River horses to 600 acres in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve and some local experts say the plan is risky—she said on July 29 she is weighing her options amid an Arizona Department of Agriculture plan to thin a herd of 280 horses to about 100, leaving 180 without placement.  Scottsdale Independent

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Scottsdale United Methodist Church plans to convert part of its property into 82 affordable apartments and a daycare center on North Miller Road—an effort to meet local workforce housing needs—and will have its proposal reviewed by the Development Review Board.
