  • Scottsdale police arrested three suspects for a June 30 double murder near North 115th Street apartments when an Infinity fled a parking lot amid gunfire over vape cartridges, resulting in the deaths of a 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman—detectives used door-to-door canvassing and modern tech to resolve the case.  Scottsdale Progress

CULTURE NEWS

  • A new sculpture called 'The Flame' is on display outside The Remi hotel in Old Town Scottsdale today. The 17-foot tall work by artist Daniel Popper uses glass fiber, concrete and brass to change colors in daylight—intended to serve as a gathering point for visitors.  KTAR

  • Scottsdale Unified School District will host its second annual Mental Health Resource Fair from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10 at Mohave District Annex, 8500 E. Jackrabbit Road.
