- ➤ Scottsdale police are searching for 35-year-old suspect Matthew Dieringer, described as manipulative and charismatic, in connection with the targeted killing of 67-year-old Frank Quaranta found dead inside his Scottsdale home near 68th Street and McDowell Road on Sept. 1 — authorities advise against approaching him and ask anyone with tips to call 911. - ➤ Scottsdale Arts has partnered with Cattle Track Arts Compound to launch the ArtSpark career-development program for emerging artists using a relocated historic barn as its hub—submissions began on July 28 with a Sept 15 deadline and the first cohort will kick off on Sept 26 at 6 p.m. The partnership will also introduce an Artists-in-Residence program for established national and international artists to share their expertise through talks and workshops.
