- ➤ Scottsdale’s McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park will celebrate its 50th birthday on Saturday, Oct. 4 by hosting a free golden jubilee from 3 to 8:30 p.m., and train and carousel rides will cost $3 with additional fun including bounce houses, face painting & balloon artists, food trucks, live music and a drone light show. The park recently finished $13.1 million in renovations, adding a new splash pad and an indoor play area called the roundhouse at 7301 E. Indian Bend Road. Scottsdale Independent
