- ➤ Spinato’s Pizzeria will become 49% employee-owned through an employee stock program that lets workers who complete 1000 hours in 12 months buy and sell shares and share in the business’s success. The family-owned business, which began in 1974 in Tempe, serves thick-crust pizza at locations in Tempe, Gilbert, Ahwatukee, Scottsdale, and Phoenix—ensuring a consistent product—and plans to expand its menus and sites.
