  • Scottsdale installed 45 new ADA-compliant curb ramps in Old Town on October 10th as part of its program to upgrade pedestrian access—statewide improvements have brought the 2025 total to over 365 ramps.  Scottsdale Independent

  • Spinato’s Pizzeria will become 49% employee-owned through an employee stock program that lets workers who complete 1000 hours in 12 months buy and sell shares and share in the business’s success. The family-owned business, which began in 1974 in Tempe, serves thick-crust pizza at locations in Tempe, Gilbert, Ahwatukee, Scottsdale, and Phoenix—ensuring a consistent product—and plans to expand its menus and sites.  Scottsdale Independent

SPORTS NEWS

  • Scottsdale fans can watch young baseball players in the Arizona Fall League as they work to reach the major leagues. The games run until Nov. 15 and tickets cost as little as $14—giving local fans an up-close look at future stars.  KJZZ
  • No. 21 ASU coach Kenny Dillingham said his team is preparing for a tough game at Rice-Eccles Stadium today against Utah—he expects Utah’s offense, led by quarterback Devon Dampier, to test ASU’s improved defense in a storied rivalry.
