BUSINESS NEWS

  • Scottsdale homebuilder Camelot Homes announced this week that it is now fully owned by its employees through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan—continuing to operate under current managers Julie and Mark Hancock. The company, which has built luxury homes across the Valley for 56 years, said the move rewards the team’s dedication.  KTAR

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Scottsdale Unified School District is set to hold a public hearing on November 13 to gather input on repurposing the small Pima and Echo Canyon schools—an option viewed as a precursor to potential closures amid falling enrollment and rising costs. A board vote on the proposal is expected on December 9 after parents and students protested at an Oct 7 meeting.  Scottsdale Progress

  • The Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships will take place Nov 8-9 and bring polo games, a fashion show, car displays, and live music to Scottsdale.
