- ➤ Pinyon, a new coastal Mediterranean restaurant from Hi Noon Hospitality, will open on Oct. 29 at 7363 E. - ➤ Scottsdale Arts, led by CEO Gerd Wuestemann, will mark its 50th anniversary with events including a Canal Convergence light show from Nov. 7 to 16 and an Alison Krauss concert on Nov. 1 as the nonprofit plans a new theater and festival amid city concerns over spending. - ➤ The Arizona Department of Education released the spring 2025 test results that show overall scores in math, reading and writing remained nearly unchanged while students with cognitive disabilities scored lower.
