- ➤ Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that the company will launch a robotaxi service in eight to ten metro areas in Arizona by the end of the year—pending regulatory approvals. Tesla has filed its testing paperwork with the state while its vehicles still require a driver—further permitting is needed before commercial operations begin. KJZZ

- ➤ The Holland Center and the Sonoran Arts League are hosting their Winter Artisans Gift Market from Dec. 5-6 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at The Holland Center, 34250 N. 60th Street, where visitors can browse art, meet makers and view unique pieces. - ➤ State Superintendent Tom Horne said Arizona students lead the nation in using the Khanmigo tutoring tool as about 16% of public school students have enrolled — he said federal pandemic funds paid for two years of access and the program will expand soon. KJZZ

- ➤ Salt River Project installed a 650-pound aluminum flume in the Sycamore Creek watershed near Williams this fall to help scientists measure how much snowmelt flows into rivers.
