- ➤ Scottsdale Community Partners celebrated its 50th anniversary on October 23 at Granite Reef Senior Center with a breakfast event honoring community service - Denny Brown received the Frances Young Volunteer Award and Gene Muñoz-Villafañe won the Civic Partnership Excellence Award - while the nonprofit, founded in 1975, has supported locals in need. - ➤ The Arizona Historical League honored nine community leaders as 2025 Historymakers at the Scott Resort in Scottsdale on October 25.
