- ➤ The Arizona Law Enforcement Canine Association will host its 22nd annual Desert Dog Police K9 Trials and Public Safety Expo at WestWorld in Scottsdale from November 8—9. The event will feature interactive public safety booths, a police dog obstacle course, guest speaker Erin Switzer who captured motion for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and stars in The Terminal List, and tickets cost $10 in advance, $15 at the door with free entry for children 12 and under. - ➤ Dr. Suchitra Pilli explained that people are breathing tiny plastic pieces every day that may cause lung inflammation and other health problems while indoor air can hold up to 45 times more microplastics than outdoors.
