- ➤ Arizona grocery stores Aldi, Walmart and Target are offering budget-friendly Thanksgiving meal bundles under $40 that include turkeys, stuffing and sides—Aldi’s deal is available through Dec. 24 while Walmart and Target promote various basket options with pickup and delivery available. - ➤ Scottsdale’s Taco Papi was voted Top Taco 2025 by public vote, marking the growth of the restaurant from street taco sales to a full operation under founders Harsimran Sodhi and Gabriel Betancourt—who serve a menu of traditional and fusion tacos including popular quesabirria options. - ➤ Canal Convergence 2025 opens today at the Scottsdale Waterfront and runs until Nov. 16 — it offers free admission to interactive art installations, live surprise performances and creative workshops, while one masking-tape workshop costs $26.50. The Arizona Republic
- ➤ Arizona’s largest and longest-running artist studio tour, Hidden in the Hills, will run on November 21-23 and November 28-30 — featuring 164 artists at 41 studios in Cave Creek, Carefree and North Scottsdale. The free, self-guided event will offer visitors a chance to explore diverse art styles and find unique gifts — an experience expected to draw thousands this season. City Sun Times
- ➤ The 15th Anniversary of International Jazz Day and the Scottsdale Jazz Festival is set for April 11 at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale. - ➤ Valley drivers see gas prices drop to $3.32 per gallon—a 4 cent decline from last week—as fall travel lowers demand, according to AAA Arizona. - ➤ APS Supply My Class program surprised 500 Arizona teachers by awarding each a $500 prepaid gift card to cover classroom supply costs—recipients included teachers from Scottsdale Unified's Cherokee Elementary, Cochise Elementary, Cocopah Middle and Copper Ridge Elementary. - ➤ Scottsdale Unified School District opened the Math and Science Academy at Mohave Middle School to expand STEM programming for younger students.
