- ➤ On November 19, the Rosendin Foundation raised over $330,000 at its 4th Annual TRF Golf Tournament and Auction at The Westin Kierland Golf Course in Scottsdale as 33 industry companies and 150 golfers took part. The funds will support its grant program, which gave a $50,000 grant to America's Mighty Warriors to aid veterans and other health initiatives in Arizona—strengthening local nonprofit efforts. - ➤ A recent study from ASU’s L. William Seidman Research Institute found that every dollar invested in Boys and Girls Clubs returned $14.79 in community benefits in 2024-25 — totaling nearly $400M from over 30 locations. - ➤ On November 7, hundreds of uninvited teens crashed a birthday party at board member Dr. Matthew Pittinsky’s home—police and private security shut the event down and an underage girl was taken to hospital for possible alcohol poisoning. Scottsdale Independent

- ➤ The Arizona Department of Education has deployed Khanmigo—an AI tutoring tool from Khan Academy—in Scottsdale Unified and other districts after a $1.5 million investment, and more than 170,000 students across the state now use the platform.
