The Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board will vote on December 9 on Superintendent Dr. Scott Menzel’s recommendation to close Pima Elementary — Echo Canyon K-8 during a meeting at Coronado High School starting at 6 p.m. at 7501 E.
Virginia Ave.; some board members including Amy Carney and Carine Werner have previously expressed opposition to the plan.
