- ➤ The Saguaros raised a record $1.37 million at their 36th annual Niteflite Golf & Gala (Nov. 14 and 15) to benefit Arizona children’s charities. The fundraiser featured a sold-out tournament at McCormick Ranch Golf Club and a gala at The W Scottsdale with grant funding to be announced in May. Arizona Digital Free Press
- ➤ A ticket sold in Arizona won $2 million in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, and a Massachusetts ticket won $1 million with the Power Play option. The jackpot will grow to an estimated $1.5 billion for Saturday’s drawing. KTAR
