  • Three young women in Maricopa County recalled balancing high academic scores and sports while facing homelessness as teens, with one saying she hid her struggles to succeed. The Maricopa Association of Governments secured a research grant and will launch a multi-day count using surveys and outreach to better measure homeless youth—aiming to capture those hidden from typical counts.  ABC15 Arizona
  • Scottsdale-based Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary received a $20,000 grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization to fund care for at-risk senior dogs—each dog will receive $1,250 for basic medical and dental services as they are transferred from local shelters.  Scottsdale Independent
